End of January! Modern Headlines from the Month Served with a Classic Hollywood Twist

Woof! We made it through the first month of 2018. By now we have either stuck to our New Years resolutions or let them fade to black. How did it go fellow resolution-makers? 

January is a month of beginnings -- we are still looking to the year ahead. I hope you don't let that "Happy New Years" energy disappear as we get into February. It's never too late to re-commit to being your best self -- which in my opinion, ultimately means your happiest-get-out-there-and-make-the-world-a-more-awesome-place self.

Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say, may your days be merry and bright!

We have had way too much fun this month. Well, my idea of fun anyway. For example, I think we must have seen at least two live-theatre adaptation of A Christmas Carol. I absolutely adored Irving Berlin's White Christmas stage production in Long Beach. I am going to blaspheme and say I was almost more entertained by the stage play than by the film! I know. I know.

Who was Marilyn Monroe? A Bit of a Prankster, Apparently

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Here in LA the brisk weather is finally starting to set in. Compared to my home stomping grounds of Salt Lake City that isn't saying much (tonight SLC is at a brisk 27 degrees while DTLA is closer to 60) but considering the almost blistering heat in recent weeks, it is still a drastic departure. And just in time, because street vendors are beginning to pull out their hot ciders and hot chocolates, which doesn't really make sense if it is 80 degrees out.
