The other day, my husband randomly asked me, “Is Doris Day still alive?” As many of you know, we lost Doris last year, May 13, 2019. She lived a long full life, though. She was 97 years old, and in those 97 years, Doris work embodied that of the All-American girl. Her legendary career included numerous hit singles, many classic movies, The Doris Day Show, and her passionate advocacy for animals.
Growing up, Pillow Talk was one of my all-time favorite classic films — but in recent years, I have gotten to know other Doris Day films, and my love for her has just grown and grown. From Hitchcock’s thriller The Man Who Knew Too Much to the light-hearted Please Don’t Eat the Daisies she just NEVER fails to charm.
I think about her every time I drink a glass of white wine. And on that note, let’s raise a glass to our beloved Doris!!!

Several notes in the spirit of doing the right thing... Ava Gardner didn't necessarily endorse any of the products listed here, but based upon my research I do believe she really loved these things. That said, if you buy from any of the links included above rather than going straight to the vendor site from Google or another search engine, I may get a portion of your purchase at no cost to you.
